Dr Ranadive

Kishore Ranadive, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I.
Dr. Ranadive received his degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Baroda, India in 1984. He completed residency at Kings County Hospital in 1989 and fellowship at Winthrop University Hospital in 1992. Dr. Ranadive has been board certified since 1989.

Dr. Ranadive is married to a wonderful woman and has two beautiful children. He has practiced in Florida since 1992. He founded Orlando Heart Specialists in 1996 and specializes in Interventional and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Ranadive was awarded the Gold Medal for graduating the top of the class, and first in the coursework of Internal Medicine and General Surgery, the final year of his M.B. and B.S. examination. He is actively involved in research and is principal investigator of a clinical trial of stents in small vessels. Dr. Ranadive currently resides as Chairman, Department of Cardiology at Florida Hospital.


Dr Parikh

Amish M. Parikh, M. D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Parikh is a long time resident of the Orlando area. In fact, he graduated from Osceola High School and then went on to the University of Miami for his college education. Dr. Parikh completed all of his medical schooling and training throughout Florida, only to return home to be with his family and friends.

Dr. Parikh is married and has two beautiful daughters. His wife is a clinical psychologist with a practice in downtown Orlando. Although the majority of his time is taken up by his girls, he still finds time for other special interests. Dr. Parikh is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys supporting his favorite teams such as the Miami Hurricanes, Miami Dolphins and the Orlando Magic. He also enjoys playing basketball, running and reading.


Dr Vakili

B. Alex Vakili, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I.
Dr. Vakili completed his training in New York City, there he graduated Cum Laude from New York University, where he was also the elected Senior Class Representative in 1990. He completed his medical school training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1995, and was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Cornell Medical Center in 1998, and went back to Albert Einstein for his cardiovascular fellowship. In 2000 he was granted the Cardiology Fellows Scholarship through the American Heart Association. He has a wonderful wife and an incredible five year old son. Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Vakili enjoys spending time with his family, running and playing tennis. In college he played on the NYU tennis team and made the Varsity Honor Roll. His favorite activities include spending time outdoors, fly fishing and skeet. His favorite author is Ernest Hemingway.

Dr Verma

Vikas Verma, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Verma is originally from New Delhi, India. He graduated from All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 1992 and completed fellowship at Brown University in 2006. He is Board Certified in Nuclear Cardiology and Interventional Cardiovascular Diseases. He received the “Deans Teaching Excellence Award” in 2002 and was best intern 1993-1994. He is married to a wonderful wife and has two children. His wife has a pulmonary practice in Orlando. Dr. Verma enjoys biking, reading and playing tennis.




Dr Shah
Rajesh A. Shah, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Shah is originally from Michigan. He completed his medical education at Wayne State University and University of Michigan. He is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine. He also received the John B. Angell Award in 1999.

After graduating with honors in 1999, Dr. Shah moved to Florida with his family. He is married to a wonderful wife and has an adorable daughter and son. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and is also a sports enthusiast.
